The handbag is a small cake and the shoes are entirely hand made of chocolate.  The base they are on is covered with fondant(sugar paste) and royal icing (sugar) designs,  creating the look of french toile fabric.  This piece can also be placed on top of a round 18"-22" cake, yours or ours, real or not!
